About Deal and District Camera Club
Deal and District Camera Club are a well-established camera club with members from all around East Kent. Our aim is to promote the awareness, understanding, appreciation and practice all types of photography.
We run a programme of weekly meetings, which are both varied and informative. There is also plenty of time for members to get to know each other and exchange ideas and experiences, ask for and offer advice, or simply have a chat.
New members are always welcome irrespective of their abilities or experience. People may join at any time of the year. If you are interested why not come along to a couple of meetings with no obligation. If you like what you see and would like to join there is an annual subscription (£15) and a weekly subscription (£3) on each attendance. (Subscriptions are reduced if you join after Christmas).
Club meetings are held in the Landmark Centre, High Street, Deal, Kent, at 7:30pm every Wednesday evening through the season (Sept – June). There is ample (free) parking in the nearby public car park [map]. The Landmark Centre has full disabled access.
Members also go out on an informal basis throughout the summer from July to September, meeting in Union Road Car Park at 7.00 pm and car sharing. This gives an opportunity to share ideas and advice on a practical basis.
